We had twelve inspiring young engineers presenting at this year's Annual Power Engineering Exchange (APEX) summit held online over two half days 30 September and 1st October. They gave wonderful insights into some exciting projects, while demonstrating their passion for solving problems, doing things smarter, and innovating creative techniques to resolve complex problems such as reducing carbon, and the impact to our environment.
Congratulations to Georgina Price, winner of the 2021 APEX Best Paper Award for her wonderful APEX presentation 'A Case Study on CUWLP: Future Proofing the New Zealand Grid through Sustainable Innovations', Georgina showed passion and strong knowledge on her presentation topic.
Congratulations to Jessica Silcock, winner of the 2021 APEX People's choice award, providing fantastic insights presenting 'A Change in How We Consider Our maintenance Strategies'.
A huge thanks to our partners Connetics, CIGRE, Beca, Meridian Energy and EPE Centre for supporting our young engineers.
The presentations are now available to view, via EEA Past Event Presentations.
