Awards for Professional Development

As part of a programme of support for careers in the electricity industry, the EEA organises and sponsors several awards.

Professional Development Award

The Professional Development Award supports attendance at an overseas event or conference that is an important step the the winner's career and allows them to further the knowladge and understanding of the electricity sector in New Zealand.

The Young Engineer of the Year Award is presented to a young engineer who is judged to have demonstrated great achievement and leadership within the electricity supply industry, community and stakeholders.
