The 2010 Electricity Engineers'
Association (EEA) Conference held in June was a great success.
The Conference had strong industry support and large
attendance with over 60 presentations from national and
international speakers, 600 delegates,99 trade exhibitors and
visitors. The 2010 Electricity Engineers’ Association
(EEA) conference ensured an excellent forum to discuss
leadership and innovation challenges faced by the New Zealand
electricity supply industry.
Leadership and innovation in electricity supply engineering is
essential to addressing climate change, sustainable energy
options and society’s current and future expectations
around electricity delivery, use and management. As the leading
New Zealand electricity supply industry engineering forum, the
2010 Conference was an international event that provided an
opportunity for organisations and individuals to present and
profile strategic energy policy issues and offer practical
engineering and technology insights to New Zealand power
industry engineers.
